Great news for patients going to Raigmore for renal dialysis treatment.

NHS Highland and Highland Council have commissioned WIN to provide this service in our area. The clinic at Raigmore will organise our drivers to take and collect patients, some of them going in as much as 3 times a week.

Chair Simon Noble said “we’re delighted to have been chosen to do this in our area. We see it as an important endorsement of our friendly, flexible approach and very much hope it could lead to more partnerships with NHS clinics.”

Manager Jon Wartnaby agreed and added “we have recruited three new part-time drivers to ensure we provide a reliable service to patients. Recruiting paid drivers also means that we can aim to carry more passengers on our Dial a Bus and volunteer car services.”
