And now we’re hiring!

Fancy being our first paid coordinator? Got up to 21 hours a week available? We may have just the job for you!

We’re looking for a coordinator to lead us in our first year of full operation. It’s a part-time post (up to 3 days a week) paid at FTE £15,500 per annum, so £9,300 for 21 hours a week. It will be a one year contract, with the potential to renew subject to funding and a satisfactory project outcome.

We have already begun operation as an entirely volunteer run service,so we have some policies and procedures in place. Board members have management, marketing and administrative experience, so the successful candidate will enjoy a measure of support from the outset.

Inverness, Aviemore, Dingwall all have car schemes, so this is a great opportunity to introduce the benefits of such a service to Nairn. If you’re professional, caring, organised and computer literate and able to help recruit, support and motivate our volunteer workforce, ideally with some experience of working with volunteers, please get in touch. The post will be home-based while a knowledge of the Nairnshire area is an advantage.

This is a re-advertisement. Previous applicants do not need to re-apply.

Contact Simon Noble or Chris Lilley on contact@wheelsinnairnshire.org if you have any questions. Take a look at the job description and personal skills specification on our website www.wheelsinnairnshire.org. Please apply by sending your full CV and a covering letter explaining why you think you’d be best for the job to contact@wheelsinnairnshire.org

The deadline for applications is 20th February. Interviews will be held on 24th February so please keep this date free in your diary.
